This special miniature edition is executed in matte black and glossy Lyrois signature-purple vinyl on 2mm foam-board. It is the sibling of much bigger works, sampling and remixing the silhouettes shapeset painted on walls, etched as well as decaled on glass, even printed on a collection of snowboards.
The Lyrois Silhouettes Mural Limited Edition Vinyl Series come in 140 × 70mm, it is a series of 10, with #000 and #001 being retained as artist's proof and the remaining #002 through #009 donated to support John T. Unger's Legal Defense Fund in his quest to defend himself and art in general.
The pieces are scratch-signed and numbered on the back, and accompanied by a printed and signed certificate documenting its story and origin. No more pieces of this edition will ever be made.

I found these pics in the archives, the originals are probably destroyed. It's a work from 2002, playing with shadows the way gobos in theaters use shadow-images to temporarily build a scene.
Translucent extruded acrylic plates, 500 × 700 mm; black foil computer-cut shapes plus high-powered light.
There is something about shadows that I always come back to.

Matte black on matte, almost smooth, white aluminum. Ten by ten inches.
Sometimes, often, creation is compulsive. Works almost manifest themselves. They just want to exist.

We talked about the mural long before. Well, finally, here it is --
This one is 125 × 53cm -- you know, we have huge walls in those old European houses.
The Silhouettes Mural is for sale; matte black and glossy Lyrois signature-purple vinyl on white aluminum. It is possible to make different sizes and color combinations to custom-match your individual environment.
There is also a printed version on high-gloss photographic paper in 100 x 50cm.

Glossy white shapes on matte white aluminum.
While purple, black, and white are where it's at this year, some prefer to have it one color at a time, with glossy or matte accents respectively, in white on white, or black on black, whichever you like better.
Starting off with white on white, a special edition with unique applications --
